Leicester City 3-1 Liverpool. Leicester gets their winning spirit back.

Leicester put on a splendid performance in their first game following the Claudio Ranieri. It was definitely an improved-display from the Foxes under new boss Craig Shakespeare, who took over after Ranieri’s controversial sacking.

The scoreline started as Vardy collected Marc Albrighton’s  pass before racing clear and finishing low past Simon Mignolet. The second goal came from Drinkwater, his first goal of the campaign.

Vardy sealed the foxes’ last goal for the win. Philippe Coutinho shot a goal of his own.

The goals of this match were the first goals for the Foxes in the League for 2017.

This win helped Leicester City move out of the Premier League bottom three.
